Marvell CEO and Co-Founder Dr. Sehat Sutardja Wins Executive of the Year at EE Times ACE Awards

Dr. Sehat Sutardja recognized for his leadership in innovation and technological vision that has helped shape the modern semiconductor industry

Santa Clara, California (July 23, 2015) – Marvell (NASDAQ:MRVL) — a worldwide leader in providing complete silicon solutions from mobile communications to storage, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud infrastructure, digital entertainment, in-home content delivery and Kinoma® software enabling the “Smart Life and Smart Lifestyle”— today announced that its chairman, CEO and co-founder, Dr. Sehat Sutardja, was named Executive of the Year at the EE Times and EDN Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards ceremony.

Dr. Sutardja was recognized for his exemplary leadership and vision as a pioneer in the modern semiconductor age, guiding Marvell during the past 20 years to deliver breakthrough technology and innovative products for the benefit of consumers around the globe. Dr. Sutardja drives Marvell’s engineering teams to innovate beyond the status quo, revolutionizing numerous industry segments, from data storage to the high-performance, low-power chips now driving the growing global markets for mobile computing, IoT and cloud services.

Dr. Sutardja has served as CEO since the company’s inception in 1995 and president from inception until July 2013. He has also served as co-chairman of the Board of Directors from inception until 2003 and as Chairman of the Board since 2003. He holds more than 400 U.S. patents.

Dr. Sehat Sutardja received the honor at the 2015 ACE Awards ceremony held on July 21, 2015 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.
